Me and my husband bought a 2001 kia from motherlode moters. Shortly afterward we had transmission troubles not once but six times in 2 years. During most of the time the car was in the shop we got the run around from the mechanics. On maybe the second or third time we were called and told we could come pick it it.
After bringing it home we notice a funny noise and parts in a motherlode moters bag. After looking under the hood we noticed they had forgotten to put a part back on. So we called the mechanice and was told maybe we had done work to the car since obivoulsy some parts were upgraded (stereo and exhaust.) After fighting and explaining we weren't in the habit of removing parts and puting them in a "motherlode moters bag" and hour after it came in the shop we took it back and had them put it back on.
The next time it came back from the shop our alignment was off. And so on and so forth. Needless to say this car was a lemon not only could they not fix it properly, they forget to put pieces back, and fought us on getting a rental since it took a week plus every time they fixed it.
Finally get fed up with these hillbillies who obvioulsy need to go back to school we sued under the lemon law. (After the dealership told us it had to happen 6 to 10 times for it to qualify) Nope only 2 to 3 we sued and got every dang penny. I would not recommend motherlode moters to fix your car or even buy one; they seem to get the rejects.
