I have been reading all the posts that Drive Time customers across the nation are posting and I am not a bit surprised. I believe that this company is making a lot of money and will soon hit rock bottom just like Enron. While we are in the age of mega merges like ATT & Cingulair and Sprint & Nextel; we must still watch out for the companies willing to make mega bucks dishonestly.
We also have to deal with people who are killing us physically by subjecting us to medicines like Celebrex and Vioxx as well injecting chicken with all types of "grow faster, larger" hormones. I am saying all of this to say there are more than enough of us who have been RIPPOFFED by DRIVETIME formerly known as UGLYDUCKLING.
My friend and I bought a car last August from DT - Dallas (Camp Wisdom) location and we were surprised to have it not start only after the third day of driving. The deal was shady prior to that as well because we traded in 2 cars and only have 1 showing on the paper work for a total of $500.00 down payment. IT WAS FRAUD from the beginning.
Then after I stopped making payments and volutarily let them regain possesion they have the nerve to send their little credit hound dogs after me. To my mom's and dad's house to serve me papers for a lawsuit. HUH!
