I purchased a 2002 Nissan Altima from Auto Express in Fredericksburg, VA. The salesman and I test drove the vehicle for approx 10 min. Ironically the veh was very low on gas and the salesman didn't have a gas card with him.
Once I purchased the veh and got it home, I loved this car. However that was short lived. 3 month later...
It has now been in the shop for a steady month. I have needed a
transmission 4600.00
4 tires 500.00
Belt replacement 110.00
plus other minor repairs.
When I returned to Auto Express, they had closed the shop in Frederickburg. I then found their other lot in Manassas, VA. When I entered the lot and had advised the salesman of my issues and that I would like to discuss this with the manager. He refused to give me any information and requested I leave the lot before he called the police.
They are complete rip offs...
By the way, for the other consumer with the issue regardiing the dowmpayment. I purchase this veh in 07/04 and they allowed me to put half down on my veh, and pay the other half of the deposit in 30 days. They also advised me to lie to the bank when they called me to state I had paid the entire downpayment.
