I've purchase a couple of times from them and had received decent tires. I guess that was just luck because the next time the whole process went downhill.
I called inquiring about a set of 4 tires that had listed on their website. They assured me they were as described and would stand behind them so I purchased the set of 4. When they arrived, I noticed a nail sticking out of one of them! I called right away, sent pictures, and, after several escalations, they offered a small refund to have it repaired. They appoligized and said it missed their inspection - ok... Things happen. I had it repaired and mounted them all. The next morning another one was flat!
Upon inspection, I noticed a hole it that one too! Now I'm questioning their inspection process even more so I called again, sent pictures, and explained the previous experience. After several days of calls, e-mails, etc, they basically told me that no one at bestusedtires would have ever told me they would stand behind any purchase, etc etc and I would have to pay shipping back to get a refund. Here's a copy of the response:
"We do not cover return shipping, we will not be sending out replacements, and can not offer an additional credit. Thanks."

Bottom line is this: If you're lucky, you might get a usable tire. If you roll the dice and get one that has a hole, is damaged, or is wortlhless - don't expect any support or a refund. You'll be out by the full amount.By the time you pay return shipping - you've paid for a brand new tire that could have been purchased locally.
Search the internet and you'll see that I'm not alone. No one expects an unconditional warranty on a used tire. We do expect one that holds air and is usable - something BestUsedTires doesn't think is reasonable.
