I was basically forced to stay in the dealership for about 7 hours. They had my car keys & I let them intimidate me. I was alone (mistake) & being a woman they decided to give me a car (I told the salesman I did not want USED) they wanted to get rid of. There were at least 3 or 4 (including the Santa Claus they had for the holiday season) constantly talking to me, convincing me it was a good thing.
I know it was my fault for signing the papers when there were red flags (19.24% interest rate) but by 8pm I was exhausted & just wanted out of there. They never gave me a car fax even though I repeatedly asked for one. I saw the one for my old car but not the one I purchased.
I wound up with a car that is only 1 year younger than what I owned (& loved) with a lot less "bells & whistles". I am very unhappy with the dealer since 2 weeks after getting the car new windshield wipers were needed & approx. 6 months after having it I needed new tires. There was "dry rot" on both rear tires. Should a "new" car need these replacements so soon? I think they didn't bother to do anything with it & I am totally disgusted with their customer service & bully methods.
Thank you,
Miclene Aaron
