In December I had The Loan Depot pay off a titile loan on my 2003 Nissian 350z that i had become stuck in for 1200.00.. My monthly payment was 398.00 to The Loan Depot every month for a year, I agreed to it being that I was in a bad position in my life. I made my payments them every month as long as I could until I lost my job..
I found a new job and had communicating over to them that I had every intention on catching up on the loan. One day I came out for lunch and watched 2 hispantic men towed my car away in front of over 100 people standing around watching as the security and mall manangent chased the men because the parkinglot did not permit cars to be towed off their property.
I contacted the loan depot and spoke with the manager, Angelica who at that time knew nothing about what was going on, but promised to contact me back with updates, and she did... She informed me that i need to pay 1698 to reedem my car, I asked her if there was anyone else whom i could speak to, so that i could work something out, she said the only people were the lenders and she could not provide me there imformation..
After calling everyday and gettig nowhere because she refused to provide cooperate number or the lenders, whom i later found out was all the same people. The day I contacted them and told them I had the money and was coming to get my car she informed me they had sold the vehicle the day before, but she knew not how much it was sold for. I again had to wait on the lenders to update the records.
I waited from October 17 to November 15 to find out that they supposedly sold my car for undrer 4000 dollars and they were going to reimburse me 129.30 within ten business days. I called Angelica and was off that day and Hilga answered the phone and asked me how did I get that letter they had no knowledge of the lettter being sent out but I had to sign for the letter and she could not answer any question until Angelica returned to work the next day because again no one knows anyting about anything...
I later contacted another location and was able to get the cooperate office number in houston and spoke with Cindy who assured me a DM would call me wilthin 24 hours because I wanted and needed to know how they came up with this figure and more details about the sell... No one called of course. Cindy also asked me why did it take so long to contact her because they would have helped me work something out sooner so I could have gotten my car back or I should ve been given a grievce number for assisnantance, none of this was provided to me becacuse Angelica told me she had now way to contct them other via email and was not allowed to foward this information over to the customers.
I contacted them back and a DM called me on December 6 because at this point Angelica said the only check she had for me was for 33.00 and was dated for November 11th and it was on her desk and it was then december... (pointless) the DM stated they indeed owed me 129.30 and the check would be sent out that day because per the letter they sent me I should have gotten my check no later then November 29th...
I said ok, today is the 1st day of a new year and I not recieved anything from the loan depot except a flyer telling me to come in and take out another loan. Im at a lost of words that they are such hearless people, Im seeking legal action because it when I owed them and I was indeed defaulted of my contract they redeemed what was owed to them and then some, at this poit the loan depot is 33 days in defult to me and plan to make them pay...
Stay away from this company there is too much riff raff and no structure... Angelica knnows nothing and has known nothing since October, Hilga awaits Angelica and remember Angelica knows nothing, they should really closed down because the two head people who runs this company has no clue how to conduct a business because even in the absence of the Manager the company still has to be ran but even in the presence of the manager the company still needs to be ran in compliance and not to the way Angelica wants it to be ran...
