This actually happened to an old friend of mine about 1 1/2 years ago. She used to work at A&W then she found out she was pregnant. When she knew she was starting to show, she told her manager she was pregnant. He immediatly FIRED her. Not laid off or dismissed. Fired. This is illegal but she didn't know that. Her dad even went down their to reem out the manager. The manager yelled back "I can fire whoever I want."
