On 09-12-12 my son and I went Long John Silvers in Springfield, Ohio located on East Main Street at 7:20 P.M. We had to wait for 5-7 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. When we received our food, it was cold and overcooked. The sweet tea container was nearly empty, slow to dispense and it was so old, it was slimey and nasty tasting. I brought it to Assistant Manager, Alicia Gibreath's attention and she made another container. She thought the incident somewhat funny evidently, because she laughed. The tea was fresh but weak. My son ordered to freshly made, dropped red-hot fish. While waiting, I noticed food and crumbs on the floor. The windows were dirty and whoever was working stayed in the back of the store, other than the cook and the intermittent visits of the assistant manager. This visit was miserable, the worst service and worse tasting, cold food I have ever had from Long John Silvers. We spent well over $20 for a lousy meal.
