Hardee's ignored us - totally
My wife and I were very disappointed during a recent visit to Hardee’s. While entering the store, we passed one female employee who was chatting on her cell phone just outside the entrance. We were the only customers inside the place. When we stood at the counter to place our orders, the lady there said that her coworker would back soon to take our order. That worker was taking orders only for drive-through customers.in a few minutes, the young lady who had been using her cell phone reappeared. I then politely asked both of them “Are you taking orders here at the counter? ” There was no answer. The cell phone girl, who hadn’t paid us any attention, said something to the drive-through lady, then walked away. Drive-through Lady resumed her duties at her computer monitor, and we were left standing there. About 10 minutes had elapsed from when we entered Hardees. There was nothing to do but leave, which we did without saying anything else. We ate at Burger King up the road.
I like the food at Hardee's very much. I have patronized this location for many years and had no problems until April.
But now the service at this location (at least during the early evening) is totally missing. Nothing. There is no clearer way to dismiss customers than to ignore them. I am through with this location of Hardees, because they do not care. Period.
After I filed my complaint at Hardees.com, I received a polite e-mail assuring me that I would be contacted about it. Since then I have heard nothing from Hardee’s corporate or from the store manager. When I sent in a complaint earlier this year about the same location, I received one phone message from the manager, which I returned during business hours. My call was not answered and the manager did not call back. Regarding customer service – whether at this store or at the corporate level - there is nowhere to go but up.
