I went to this place on may 18 for my wife's birthday. I had a gift certificate for 100.00 and they did not honor it! Sighting an employee or previous owner sold them as a scam! They said company was bought out by prime 516 and then went out of business 2 months later. Meanwhile i live in merrick and since original business opened, the name on the outside never changed and always had brooks and porter on big sign. There are multiple lawsuits against this business just check on-line. I believe this business has committed numerous transactions of wire fraud, purposely charging credit cards with the intent to defraud. They never intended to honor the gift certificates! The gift certificate bares both prime 516 and brooks and porter. The manager type slime ball that came to my table trying to intimidate me to pay full price was clearly a wannabe wiseguy, then again i have heard that about this place.
