Management is horrible at this Airway location in El Paso, TX. I bought my sister a gift card from a San Antonio Applebee's and for some reason it didn't show up on their system when she tried using it at this Applebee's in El Paso and it happened to be that I was in town (El Paso) when she used it. Bottom line it was the SA Applebee's fault for not scanning it right (and I showed them the receipt I had for the GC) but when I talked to the manager at this El Paso restaurant, Joe Lieu, he said there was nothing they could do because they are separate fanchises. He didn't care about the customer he just cared about keeping the money in the same franchises which as a customer I shouldn't have to worry about. I asked him if he would just take the gift card and receipt that I had and give us a $20 credit for our meal we just had and he refused. It a small amount of $20 and he still couldn't help us. Now I have to deal with the problem and take the GC back to the store I bought it at to get my money back. I will never go to this Applebee's or any Applebee's again because there is no such thing as Customer Service! They are too concerned about keeping $20 in one franchise and not the other. I was embarrased that this happened to me at the restaurant and there was no help from management. It was a small gift for my sister but they turned it into a huge problem.
Chili's is 10 times better anyways!
