I was dining with a friend at Ryan's Restaurant here in Decatur, AL on Dec. 10, @ 3:45PM, when an incident occured. I was eating an ice cream cone when I down on something very hard and screamed out in pain. I told my friend what happened but decided not to report it right away because I was hoping the pain would go away over time and I didn't want to hurt, embaress, or sue anyone at that time.
On Dec. 19, I went back to Ryan's to report the incident because I was still in severe pain. All I wanted was for Ryan's to send me to the dentist of their choosing to examine and fix the damage to my teeth caused by the item that was in the cone I bit into. I was not looking for a large punitive damages award, I just want my teeth to quit hurting.
They have refused to help me. I was hoping that Ryan's would DO THE RIGHT THING by me but I guess they care more about their financial bottom line than they do about their customers. As the title of this report states, "Eat At Your Own Risk At Ryan's."
