My son went to work for McDonalds and being the honest person he is told them he was HIV and from that moment on the people at the Walters, Ok. Store began to harass him torture him, cuss him and in general trying to make him quit. They would call him in to work on his days off and he would drive all the way to Walters and when he got there they would laugh and say they didn't need him call him names and tell him he was stupid. [They transfered him to the Walters store from Lawton AFTER they found out that he was HIV ]The store is located way out on the highway and does not do a fluent business; due to the limited access. So, as time went by he learned that the mang. And 3 of the other employees [that ride together to work] were in the back of the store doing dope! So, he reports them. That's when the mang. Reports him as cussing her and he gets suspended indefinitely. They never tried to contact him to tell him to come back to work and when they put him back on the schedule and he didn't show up they fired him. I have 3 wittnesses to all of this info. Also the mang. Calling me on my phone and leaving a message stating that she was wrong and wanted him to come back to work after 3 days. When I called the main office to verify it, the dist mang. Said she had no authorization to do that and that she infact was just harassing him trying to get him to drive all the way back to Walters so she coiuld play a joke on him. This not only cost him his job and missed days of work, gas money and time but threw him into a deep depression and now he is seeking psychiatric help and has remained physically sick ever since; resulting in a possible ulcer. Descrimination is just that ; descrimination! For what ever reason! Whether they did what they did to him because of his disease or because he reported their dope habits, they have ruined him here in Lawton and he can't get a job anywhere much less hold on to one in his condition.
