I Went to the North Alvernon Way and Grant Road Burger King in Tucson Arizona 11/18 about 4:45 P.M. My Order for a Double Whopper no Cheese was Accepted at the Drive-Thru Menu. My Money was Accepted at the Window after I Repeated my Order there. I got a Receipt, and was then told to Drive to the Handicapped Parking to wait for my order. I Consider sending a non-Handicapped Person to the Handicapped Space to be not only Illegal, but Extremely Insulting. I Parked in the space next to the Handicapped space, and was berated by the order taker for not parking in the Handicapped space. When I tried to explain that it was illegal for me to park in the handicapped space and that doing so would make me guilty of a crime punishable by a $250.00 fine, she said words to the effect that she had the authority to supercede the handicpped parking law and to direct me to park in a Handicapped space. I consider her to have been consistently rude and insulting. There are implied promises when using a drive-thru that the food will be ready promptly and at the window, and neither was kept. Handicapped Parking is there for Handicapped Customers, not to provide a way to cover for the Failure of Burger King to promptly deliver food at the drive-thru. To top it off, when I got home with my food, I found some Cheese on my Double Whopper no Cheese, which is a problem because i am lactose intolerant, and the cheese, even when spotted before eating, is not possible to totally be scraped off of the meat I tried to email Burger King, but they do not accept email locally or nationally.
