I was hurt on the job onaug. 13 2000 by a rug that was put ontop of a wet rug. I told mgmt, many time someone was going to get hurt. Well it was me. Thay say thay care for thier employees. Sure thay do that is why the rug is still the same way.
Thier comp insurance co risk enterprise management of dallas texas good old cecelia hicks has made my life aliving hell. She has denided treatment. Has lied and because i am raising 2 grandkids and my car broke i had to settle.
She gave me no medcial and only 4500.00. Thay care (cracker barrel) so much that will noy even give me my job back cause of my hurt back and shoulder after working for them 5 years and it's thier fault that i am hurt thay have no place for me. I can not sue them because i worked for them.
Is that not crazy. I am listed as sedtary light duty by three doctors. Now just who is going to give me a job? Not only have i suffered so has my family. If it would of not of been for a chruch my grandkids would of not even had a christmas. Look up thier home page and look under news articles that mention law suits on them and you just will not believe it! This money will noy last long then what? Oh what a great co.
That cares so much for thier employees. To think that that rug is still there to hurt someone else makes me sick. Thay are being sued for being preajust against blacks gays and black guest and making thier servers stay as long as three hours and longer at 2.23 an hour cleaning and than make us clock off for another hour locked in while thay break down the cashiers.
Some how cracker barrell is above all labor laws. I could go on and on at the things thay have done to the employees but most people would not believe it. God knows! No one should ever eat there and let mr evans just keep getting richer and the law should change, if you take a manager and show them a dangerous place and them that pearon gets hurt there and you can't sue them something is bad wrong.
All we can do is wait and see who the next person is going to be. Three slipped there the same day i did. Oh but thay tell you real quick "you can't sue us"please people do not eat
There!!! And what ever you do for sure don't work there. I wan't even invited to the christmas partys are thay never called to see how i was doing! O yes grat co. Ask them!
