Me and my husband went into the Subway yesterday on Highland Ave in Birmingham, AL. (5/28) When we walked in, we were not greeted because the employee was outside smoking. When she finally came in, she had an attitude that clearly showed she did not want to be there. We asked for grilled chicken breasts and there were not any prepared so she had to defrost some and was not happy about that. She appeared as if she was falling asleep while she was preparing my husbands sandwich, and looked as if she was on drugs because her eyes were extremely droopy. When he asked her for more BBQ sauce, she literally HUFFED and PUFFED and rolled her eyes because she was having to refill the bottle.in addition, she knocked our bags of chips over at check out and said, "Sorry". Also, instead of handing us the receipt she just dropped it inside the display box of the kids box meal. The Diet Coke was also empty when we tried to fill our drinks, but needless to say I was not surprised at this point. I would not eat at this Subway again if I was paid. I have never in my life had customer service like that and was in pure shock when I left. My husband eats at Subway often but we are both extremely disappointed at what we witnessed yesterday and how we were treated.
