Misshape has sent many letters to drivers on the surcharge installment plan, or scam. If you get a notice reading surcharge default and suspension, look on the bottom of this letter and read the rules of this texas transportation code of statutory authority. They are messing with texas dps. Are they insane? Why is this behavior unnotice by people at dps and why are they so surprised when they hear of complaints from people like me. Now back to the letter masquerading as a serious suspension notice complete with all the bells and whistle but something is wrong here, every word, date and amount are all false! There is not even a signatures of the letters author, prin ted or cursive! Wow. But get this according to this letter, my license had been suspended for 18 days, and in my mind i am thinking of " what would have happened and shutter about the consequences! If your letter is like mine, msb had my license suspended on nov 11 18 days before nthe day the notice was written. Nov 20th. The code says suspension notices are only send out if 1 st and 2nd notices are sent and only if 60 days have passed with no action ect. Texas dps code law is called authoritative code, but states that letters of suspension can only be sent by dps txdot agents not, a collection agency!!! I called txdps in austin and talked with a state trooper who heard my story and agreed to send over? Now i am easily amused and have a lot of time on myhands so one of my favorite pastimes is to shake up those that are evil! Especially when the operator on the other end is no other than that sweet lady with such a caring way! Yeah she is the only operator you talk with, does not have supervisor as she is perfectly capable in every way possible to spin, backpeddle, and spin everything she can, sometimes she does go overboard and make little sense. But its all entertainment right.? So i called her this am and was overwhelmed by her empathy and understanding. But mad causes stress now, in closing, she finally admitted that i had paid and not skipped december but i got into this diligence last feb during my futile indemnity enrolment process.
