We contacted Unsecured Business Funding about consolidating 2 current business loans. They got all of our information, including credit scores, and told us that it should be fairly quick and simple to get our loan. It should take 5-12 days to get it done. We paid them $250 for this service.
We get a call in a week or so telling us that we would need to establish business credit and it would cost us $2500 for them to do all of the paper work and write our business plan. They said that everyone that follows their plan gets funded. We then get a call telling us we need to register with Dunn and Bradstreet and pay them a monthly fee. This is where their communication stopped!
I cannot get Unsecured to answer emails or return phone calls. It has been six months and they finally put us in touch with a lender, Direct Business Lending. We find out that the lender is a part of Unsecured Business Funding. They tell us they cannot fund us!
Unsecured will not return any calls or answer any emails or requests for refunds. Their should be some sort of investigation and class action suit! DO NOT do business with Unsecured Business Funding!
