On 19 October I was contacted by Galaxy Credit on the phone regarding a claim for $99. This claim was from Virtual Data located in Chandler AZ 85246 (PO Box 7351. Galaxy Credit would not provide street addresses for Virtual Data or for their own company.
I informed Galaxy Credit over the phone that this was an apparent scam.
I received a letter from Galaxy Credit 20 October with very little information. I called Galaxy Credit to get more information. They do not like to give out much informtion, especially information in writing.
Per a phone conversation with Galaxy Credit, Virtual Data claims I responded to a telepone solicitation on 09 March 1998. (Yes, that is 1998.) They indicated to Galaxy Credit, I ordered a three year subscription to Playboy magazine for $99.
I informed Galaxy Credit over the phone that Virtual Data's claim was false and fraudulent. I said this to a supervisor named Ralph.
On 21 October I sent a letter by registered mail (with required return signature card) to Glaxy Credit. I informed Galxy Credit that I disputed the Virtual Data claim because it was false and fraudulent.
