I recieved on 08.31.12 a notification dated 08.14.12 that my account with carecredit/gecrb had been closed due to prolonged inactivity. They admit the fact that this action was not precipitated by my"individual credit behavior", yet they were taking this action anyway. To expidite time, i emailed to them a plea not to follow through with this action and that i would do whatever necessary to correct the situation. I informed them that i have an excellent credit rating and wished to be given the opportunity to keep it that way.
I appreciate they conform to business regulations and conditions, however, i do believe that if a consumer has not sought to intentionally default on a contractual obligation set forth by said company, perhaps some consideration could be extended to the customer.
I wrote (emailed) to carecredit/gecrb requesting just such consideration, i've yet to recieve a response. I am following up in rapid fashion because i realize the importance of the passage of time diminishing one's chance of a favorable outcome (resolution).
I emplore this company to please reconsider their decision and to grant me the opportunity to ammend this situation!
