Citizens of Atlanta BEWARE! Jabez Shakur (Bryan McCoy Hicks) of the "Maroon Real Estate Network" is a TOTAL FRAUD. For starters, he never goes by his real name, Bryan M. Hicks, because he has a criminal history in the state of TX and elsewhere. He works with his "accountant", Carla Lynne Gordon, who doubles as his Sugar Mama. He brings in the victims and she finishes the "deal". She has to make sure she's bringing in enough money to take care of him to keep him.
He usually begins by asking for an "investment" and if he can't convince you to do that he will then try and get you to get a loan so that you can "invest" for a share in a property that he and Carla have "found" somewhere. Their ultimate goal is to acquire a hotel so be wary of that as well. They are both Robert Kiosaki junkies and pretend to swear by his principles. He also claims to be a Christian and may even have Carla do your taxes for "free"; DON'T fall for it! He "brokered" an "investment deal" that cost me 20K and to this day there is NO proof as to where any of the money went or anything. I've had to stay on them about repaying my money that they ADMIT to owing, but to no avail.
Bryan Hicks is so disgusting that he even took out tens of thousands of dollars in loans and credit cards in his own little brothers' name, defaulted on the loans, maxed out all the credit cards and destroyed his younger brother's credit before he was even 23yrs of age! He is a deplorable individual that refuses to work so he scams people for a living, usually women, but he will do it to (and with) anyone. Save yourself. You did not come across this report by accident.
