This morning, I received a phone call on my cell (?) that i had won a $8000 grant from our U.S. Gov't to do whatever I wanted with, such as, pay bills, debts, purchase goods etc. The name of the caller was Jamie Larson.
What threw me though was that this gentleman had a middle eastern accent. So, I asked him if I could have a web address to verify some of the information that he was giving me. His response was "Our website is under construction but not to worry, we are a legitimate." I responded ok fine.
Then, I was asked for my bank account number so that the grant money could be deposited. RED FLAG! I asked why the money could not be mailed to me certified check. He said that the only way I could receive the money right away was to give him my account number. Don't do it. This company or whatever it could not give me a straight answer also, the address he tried to give me was a P.O. Box, another RED FLAG!
