To Whom This May Concern:
I received a post card in the mail for the instant winner of a $500 JC Penny gift card and call as instructed. I called 1-800-453-5595 and was greeted by a recording which identified the promotion on 10/31 around about 6:42pm (est.) and was placed on hold. After waiting about one minute, someone (a lady) answered the phone and ask me “who is this? ” to which I responded, “I was holding for the JC Penny Gift card, is this the correct number? ” the response was “No” (very rudely) then they hung up. I looked at my caller ID and it was the correct number. I was shocked, but decided to all again. When I called again, which was about 6:45pm I was greeted with the same recording and placed on hold. This time when the phone was answered, a lady greeted me (it sounded like the same person) and ask if I could turn the Television down. I ask my husband to turn the television down. While he was trying to get the remote, the lady said in a low voice, “turn that damn TV down”, I was shocked! I ask her “what did you say? ” her response was “what? ” I told her that I heard her and repeated what she said. She said “oh, sorry, you heard me? ” I told her that was very unprofessional and uncalled for. She said, “you’re right, it was, sorry, can I get your number? ” I told her that I was not happy with the service which isn’t customer friendly at all, and asked to speak with a supervisor. The lady said ok, there was on supervisors. After confirming that I was not happy at all, I immediately called another number on the card. I called 1-800-527-5592. I was greeted by another lady who told me (after I explained the reason for my call) that she would take my information and have a supervisor call me within 24 hours. Needless to say, that call never came.

My husband just retired from the Government and we are looking for insurance, however I would never use this company. Your customer service is awful! If I purchase insurance from a company who don’t respect its potential customers, why would I think I would be treated any different if I was a paying customer! I am very unhappy with the way I was treated and no one even bother to call me. This is unacceptable and something needs to be done about it. I know that the calls are recorded, because it states it on the recording when you call. If you don’t believe me, check your records for that day. (I may not have the event correct word for word, but the problem and actions are correct) I was treated very bad and disrespected all because you sent me an invitation to participate in your contest, which I still was unable to do! I am not sure that you will even respond to my complaint, but your business will suffer if this type of customer service continues!
