I have tried 3 times to close this account with a zero balance, and every time the agent on the phone tells me the account is closed. A few weeks later, I receive a statement. They simply will not close the account. Each time I requested a letter stating the account was closed with a zero balance by the consumer, and I have yet to see this letter. This is a predatory lender, and should be investigated by the Secretary of State in Nevada.
I will attempt to close the account AGAIN tomorrow, and I will tell the agent that my next step is to contact the Secretary of State, the Better Business Bureau, and any other agency I can think of if the account is not closed immediately.
