I also was scammed by e-credit solutions. I receved the postcard stating the $4000 credit limit and being a college student with bad credit i thought this would helop me get out of having bad credit. And i was approved for a visa credit card. On dec. 14 the back transfer went through taking $199 out of my account. I called that day to see if everything went as planned, and i also asked the man when i should be getting the card. He said the following week. (with-in 7 days) and christmas only being a few weeks away i thought that would be great.
The next week came and no card. So i called and now a lady said that the man was wrong of telling me that information and i would recive the card by jan 4th. I was very angry but i couldn't do anything. January 4th came and still no card. I called up and spoke to a customer service rep and she said that both the man and the lady were wrong. Needless to say i yelled at her on the phone. And stated if i didn't have my credit card by that monday i wanted my money back. On that following monday i revived my package with no visa credit card that i was promised.
I read the whole package and was very very confused about what was infront of me. A card with my name on it but no visa symbol and a catalog. (with all the other booklets). I called again and asked what this was and the lady told me very nicely what i had to do. Basically i had to buy something for $153.00 and give then 81.00 for the first payment and then another $33.00 for 3 months before i was eligable for the visa credit card.
I said thank you and hung up. I thought abut it for a bit then called back to cancel. I told my story about not knowing about that and canceled my account. The lady said i had to wait another 21 business days until anything happened.
On january 11 i called up my back to check my account and there was $100 missing from it. I called the branch and they said that an NCS company took it out. Now here i am. Writing this...
