I recieved a call from a group stating they were from Orchard Benefits offering a credit card not based on credit history but by my history with my financial institution. They said in order to process the request they would need to draft a one time $99.95 fee.
At first I was hesitant but figured if they are frauds I can always dispute the charge. They stated after the fee was recieved in about 7-14 working days I would recieve a complimentary PDA for aquiring there card which I thought seemed strange. I told them they could draft my account for the fee on 8/16/04 and they ended up taking the fee on the 12th. As of yet I have not recieved anything from this corporation and have since closed my checking account so that they can not draft any additional funds and per my bank posted a notice on this web-site.
