This company sued my wife for collection of medical bills. That's fine we understand that. However we made FULL payment to this company via Bank Cashiers Check BEFORE the case even went to court in order to keep it out of court. Since we paid IN FULL we didn't go to court, and didn't think we would have to. We never even got notice of an actual court date.
Apparently these guys these guys held our payment, went to court, got a default judgement against us, and then paid the court findings with our full payment that we made a full month before. If these guys threaten to sue you and you make payment before hand, make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing, dated, with receipts of payments.
