NuHavens and Havens Law Firm, PC is/are a complete scam! The current owner/President, Robert Nigro, should be behind bars. He and his company have scammed my family out of over $20,000.00!
My husband and I signed a contract with NuHavens and signed a retainer agreement with Havens Law Firm, PC to negotiate with our creditors and help us manage down our debt, but they did not do anything! They took automatic monthly ACH withdrawls from our checking account, yet they did not contact anyone or any company on our behalf. Now, over $20,000.00 of our money is being held by NuHavens (or Robert Nigro) and they refuse to give it back to us.
To make matters worse, some of the creditors we had in the program with Nuhavens have begun legal judgement proceedings against my husband and me! Now we have to go to court to defend ourselves against charges that should be directed to NuHavens, Havens Law Firm PC and/or Robert Nigro! These creditors want their money, which I can completely understand, but now we have nothing to give them because NuHavens kept all the money, never negotiated with our creditors or paid anything out in settlements!
Both my husband's and my credit has been completely destroyed. NuHavens and Robert Nigro have made our situation exponentially worse than it was before we entrusted them to help us. We are in the midst of litigation proceedings.
Heed my advice and stay as far away from this company as possible, unless of course you are in the same situation as we are and want your money back or intend to litigate!
