This company called me April 21 with an offer of a unsecured credit card (with a limit of $2,000), a free computer, free cell phone, a $500 shopping spree, a 2-day cruise, and a free sattelite. All for a one time fee of $329.00. I was skeptical and asked several times if this was an unsecured credit card and was told yes. I gave them my bank information (like an idiot), and split the payments up. The last payment was taken from my account on June 3.
After waiting until May 18 I called and spoke with eve. She told me she would send it out but it may take a couple weeks as they were backlogged. It was then that she told me I would be receiving a signature note for a credit card but not an actual card. I told her I was not sure of this but to send it and I would look it ovwer and call her back.
On July 13 I received a packet with a signature note for a secured card with a limit of $5,000, flyers that had: a legal portfolio registration kit, a 5,00 calling card web-site address that I had to complete another pruchase before I could receive, a medical prescription card for $29.95 per year, a web-site for a free cell phone, a web-site for a free sattelite, a cruise vacation that I had to pay for, and a credit reair guide.
I have been trying to call this company for several days now and get an answering machine and no return calls. I was lied to about the total package I would be receiving and want my money back. If I knew of the third-party banker this company used, I would contact them to obtain my money, as most third-parties are not illegal. I will be contacting the D.A.in Champlain, N.Y., to file a lawsuit or to become involved in a class-action lawsuit. I am on disability and cannot afford a rip-off. Please, everyone contacted or allready ripped off by this company do the same.
