Skylight Financial (or Skylight One) is a paycard/financial institution used by a number of companies as a direct deposit solution for their employees. Basically, they issue what people refer to as a 'paycard'.
Recently, someone has gained unauthorised access to my Internet Banking Account and my personal debit card information, and has racked up a large number of charges (along with Insuf. Funds Fees). I have been fighting this bank for a while now to refund/reverse all of these charges, and I have gotten no where. They are THE most rude, outsourced people I have EVER dealt with. I thought dealing with Dell or AT&T was bad, these people are 100% worse. I was extremely polite and nicely asked what they could do for me, the Supervisor gets her nasty tone and states "There is no single thing I can do for you, SIR. It [sic] your responsibility to secure you[sic] account! You need to learn[sic] better job of do[sic] this!"
They also claim to not have to follow financial regulations or procedure, because apparently they do not qualify as a bank.
In a nutshell: Someone gained unauthorized access to my account and allowed my account to be overdrafted, and FRADULENTLY spent amounts of money that sent me far in to the negative balance. Customer Service told me it was my fault, and that I should take better care of my account and refused to reverse any of the fradulent charges nor even reverse any of the overdraft charges.
If your company uses this paycard, BEWARE! Do NOT sign up with them, and immediately switch to a REAL bank that cares about its customers, and does not outsource everything to a large amount of rude foreigners.
