Its amazing this forum has been put together. I really appreciate it! I was a leader within the Melaleuca company for almost 5 years. My enroller and I teamed up and worked very hard... She hit Senior Director in 5 years and I hit it the month that I cancelled my membership.
In 1999 the company made some tough changes. They changed what used to be residual income to what they now call consistent income. The old timers (most of which won't speak up because of fear of loss of business and lawsuits) were robbed! I left in 2002 because they made a second wave of changes that effected everyone in the company. Now I have heard that it was absolutely necessary to stay afloat. Beware!
Ask any leader prior to 1999 how that effected their businesses. Its very sad. I saw this report and thought it would be good to add additional support to the numerous complaints on this board.
However I do want to address a few in this one paragraph. The key word is that you have started a home based business. Nothing is a FREE lunch and it appears that many do expect that here! I do not think that is fair! IF you started any business there would be one time and monthly costs ask any traditional business owner! If you were not educated on that I am truly sorry!
There are many leaders in hiding that have been greatly hurt by the moves of this company! Please walk into this with open eyes knowing that RESIDUAL income does not exist any longer there!
