Stargroove Trade (www.jumbocdfund.com) is fraudulently misrepresenting itself as affiliated with a FINRA registered Broker Dealer, and with SEC, presumably to convey legitimacy to unwary potential investors.
However, the firm is NOT registered with FINRA or with the SEC (nor is any of the staff listed on the website) or even with the state of New York (as a corporation), nor has Stargroove ever been associated with the real Broker Dealer identified in the solicitation documents distributed by Bob Nolan.
The impersonated Broker Dealer reported Stargroove to FINRA, the SEC, and the New York State Department of Fraud Investigation on February 10. The SEC subsequently told the Broker Dealer that this quarter it will post Stargroove on its "wall of shame" (the PAUSE section of its website) and it requests that any investors or potential investors who have had communications or dealings with Stargroove file a written complaint through www.sec. Gov. As of mid-March, Stargroove's website remains active.
