Pressler & Pressler sent letters prior to getting me to appear in court. I never replyed. Then I get a letter to appear in court form the county court house. So i went. The court officer asked me to step outside the courtroom. After i gave him my name, he gave me papers and said I have to fill them out! I looked at them to see what it said, and tould him that I do have rights and don't want to fill the papers out. He said you do but, if you don't fill them out, it would considered contempt of court and I might get arrested. I didn't want to fill the paperwork because it asked for bank info too. So I tould the officer that I'm on unemployment, that's my only income. He said they can't touch your unemployment funds. I reluctantly gave up my financial info. At the bottom i stated that I'm on unemployment. Pressler & Pressler took the money anyway!!! Here's the rinkle, I only had approx. $350 in the account. The bank hit me off for $100 levy fee and P&P stole the rest. I did research on these bumbs and they have bad press all over the net. I looked at a lot of complaints And the least amount in the others account was $4,300. They only owed about $1,200, P&P took out more than what was owed, and the people are still trying to get their money back! So watch out, you can't trust them, only respond to them by registered mail, don't do any thing by fax like i did being a nice guy. The owners have many years in the business, and push things to the edge. Seek council first. Then get in contact with them. You need to know your rights!!! Good Luck!
