Smartrend / MySmartrend is a complete hoax. They publish these alerts commenting about how much money was made since recommendation. They only publish the winners.
They claim 87% winners. It is a lie. That is only % of trends that have not reversed down yet. So if they call an uptrend on IBM and then stock goes down instead, that is not computed in the 87%. Ask them for the specific stats. It is false advertising and should be sued.
This company also pumps stocks on FNNO.com (financial news network also related to a criminal with the last named Brian.) Smartrend owns FNNO and both are owned by some outfit called Comtex which is in a strip mall in Virginia.
Lastly, if you email them you want to cancel your trial and they happen to "lose" the email, you get charged since you did not tell them you want it cancelled in time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company entirely.
