Inc billing and threatening credit rating for not renewing magazine subscription to "Travel & Leisure"

I have been receiving collection notices for a magazine subscription which I decided not to renew... Not from the magazine but from the North Shore Agency, Inc which claims to be a collection agency for "Travel&Leisure"

They stipulate that the check should be made payable to them, not to the magazine.

They are also threatening my credit.
