The Speedway station #2311 at Outer Dr. And Grindley Park in Dearborn, MI is hands down the worst experience I've had as far as disputing a transaction.
I asked for $40.00 on a pump and my car only took $37.00 worth of gas so naturally I go back in to receive my change and the clerk downright refused to give it to me. She insisted that the computer indicated I had spent the entire $40 when the gas pump indicated only $37. So to prove it I went back out, took a picture of the pump, went back in (and also intended to patiently wait in line again) but when the clerk sees me she threatens to call the police to have me removed from the premises for absolutely no reason!
I must stress that I was soft spoken, polite, and articulate when I explained the situation to her the first time (I've worked in customer service, I know what it's like), but naturally I want the money they owe me; but this woman is going to have the nerve to embarrass me and threaten to call the police as if I'm making some sort of scene or threatening her? (and of course this is taking place in front of other customers because there's a line). How dare she treat a polite customer who only wants his fair change with such ruthlessness? And of course there was no manager on staff so I couldn't speak to anyone else, but still it was completely unnecessary and outrageous. I will be in touch with the manager first thing in the morning and that woman will be reprimanded because if that's how she treats polite customers I couldn't imagine how'd she react to someone who's actually rude...
Greater point: If you live in the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area stay away I highly recommend you avoid that Speedway.
