Took fees for a personal loan and did not come through with loan with no explanation

I received several emails and two phone calls regarding a personal loan, first there was an application fee of 150.00, then an insurance fee for the loan of 275.00 for a guaranteed loan to follow. I received numerous emails and the two phone calls until I paid the fees. Then I have not heard anything.
