CONSUMER FRAUD ALERT: this company is a fraud operation and is fraudulently using Primerica's name to mislead consumers into paying money to obtain a credit card. Ripped me off, they took 249.00 from my account and never sent me my credit card ripoff

Complaint Investigation: CREDIT CARD - FRAUD ALERT!
A credit card fraud operation is in effect across the country that poses a significant danger to your financial health. This operation fraudulently uses the Primerica name to mislead consumers into paying money to obtain a credit card. This fraudulent operation is not affiliated in any way with Primerica Financial Services in Duluth, GA, or Citigroup.

Here's the activity to which you should be alert:
A telephone call by the scammer falsely offers credit cards by misrepresenting that Primerica in Duluth, GA is offering the credit card, which is totally false. Typically, the caller obtains bank account information over the phone and the victim is asked to pay a sum of money to supposedly receive the credit card. The money is then debited from the victim's account with a promise that the credit card will be sent shortly. Once you send your money to these companies, you never get your promised credit card and you cannot get your money back.

In most jurisdictions it is illegal for a company to request an upfront fee prior to obtaining a loan. The real Primerica does not offer credit card services. I wish someone could get these people for what they did to me and others. They called and said I was approved for a Mastercard credit card with a limit of 2000.00. She told me they give credit cards to people with bad credit to help them rebuild their credit.

I give her my checking account information and told her what day I wanted it withdrawn. They took 249.00 from my account and that was in March and now it is May and still I have not received a thing.

Everytime I would call they had an excuse, for example, they would say the bank is slow. I don't know what to do, now they do not even answer the phones. I recently reported them to the Better Business Bureau I'm waitng to hear from them.

Hopefully some legal action will happen as soon as they are found. Please help!!! Thank you.
