My experience was similar to Bill from San Diego. I was experienced in financial services when I got hired, yet this other agent asked me or I asked him for some help on the one card system stuff. I had prospects from successful mailing and phone call campaigns, and I invited him to appointments with me so that I had someone experienced to answer questions. The other agent ended up taking these accounts, without my knowing, and he badmouthed me to the general agent. It's a rude-fest at Mass Mutual. They terminated me and went after me for money that they claimed I owed, but was not contractually supported. They took five years of my time with the debt reporting to the three major credit reporting companies, and then I tried legal measures for a severance, and they refused. Mass Mutual is the biggest rip off in employment. They don't pay a salary for that position, yet they hit you up for your accounts, and the agent has probably paid for a few months of expenses before any commission occurs so it's a waste of money, time, and efforts.
