Was suppost to be like a second job being a secret shopper but little did I know the check was fake

I got this letter about a second job being a secret shopper. They sent me a check for 1,978.60.350 was for me to keep, 1470 to send through western union and 58.60 was to buy something with to rate the store. I go to cash the check instead of depositing it and the check is fake. Called the company and the hung up on me after I told them the check was fake now they will not answer the phone. Anyone out there who gets a check from these people do not trust them its fake.
