October 2 I was contacted by a NADN Tax Adviser offering assitance with tax returns. I was currently trying to get a return prepared for my disabled husband whom I had married less than a year ago. The tax adviser spoke eloquently about how they could help us, first by sending a tax organizer, which I never received.
I was to send them copies of previous tax returns along with the current information. They happily debited our checking acccount for the agreed upon amount to prepare the return of $300.00 that day. (10-2). As stated previously, they never sent the information and after contacting them several times, all of which I documented, I retained a local professional to prepare the return because there was a time limit set by the IRS to have it in their hands.
On November 6 I contacted NADN Customer Service regarding the situation and requested a refund of my money. I was told by their representative that I should send a FAX to a designated number requesting the refund. (Which I did on Nov. 7) I have had absolutely no response from them. I've sent e-mails. No response.
Today, March 4, one of their "Tax Advisors" called my home to update me that it will soon be times to file our tax return. I questioned him about the refund and he did a real fine job of avoiding the subject matter entirely. He spat our a lot of baloney, hooey and never did answer my questions? This company is obviously a RIP OFF and I will continue to question them about my money as long as I have e-mail and the US Mail to do so. They obviously don't have any intentions of refunding my money.
