My monthly mortgage payment was 600.00. I fell on hardship a year ago in March. I was unable to meet my payment. I needed temporary relief for 2 years to get back on my feet.
I have been working with ocwen to do a inhouse modification. My original loan was for 81000 at 6.125 interest rate for 30 years. Its supossed to mature in 2036.
The modification i received was for $592.00 a month at an interest rate of 6.12% and to mature in 2051. All they did was extend my years for 15 years.
They also included overtime and I proved to them that I was no receiving overtime via paystubs and a company letter.
All I need was a temporary interest rated adjustment to help me for two years, not to extend my loan for 15 years and save me $8.00 a month.
