Ok, yes I'm fresh at having a house. Nevertheless when I depend and place my confidence into an insurance company to locate what I want, I anticipate them to understand the things they are doing. Brightway insurance Company got me put up with Security-First. I went over my plan via telephone with agent, Lauren Shaw, (my agent, Kevin Bland, never appeared to be accessible) and had her clarify it in my experience in laimens conditions. I questioned my concerns after which got right down to the water-side of it. I noticed where it stated 'ton exemption', and questioned what that precisely omitted. She proceeded to convey when a storm floods my house I'm not covered, when a tube within the road breaks and floods my house I'm not covered. But, if your tube in my own home breaks and 'floods' or 'fills' an area/home with water I'm protected. I then inquired about my top. Based on paperwork, the top of the home was constructed fresh in 2006. (given new top really should not be dripping right?!) I noticed a coupke of months before the top is dripping in several locations! I expected her when my top is leaky when it rains am I going to be protected. Lauren mentioned that yes. It'd come under other challenges having a $1k deductible. Two (2) days later I proceeded to create a state for my top. The insurer, Kevin Townsend, arrived and got images and my assertion. He mentioned he really noticed more locations where the top was dripping and introduced them to my interest. Anyway, he quit and visited do his work. A notice subsequently returned in my experience declaring that I had been refused my state and Mr. Townsend lied about problems towards the top and my declaration was turned around! Go figure. Today in my opinion the films without a doubt. Mr. Townsend subsequently called me and and explained I had been refused. Any guesses why? Well, it is because I've a water exemption on my plan! It's outlined like a water exemption credit. Lauren Shaw had no idea what she was referring to when she was going right through the plan with me within the telephone. Because of her and her understanding of reading insurance plans, my caim was refused and that I will have to locate a method to develop $4k to displace my top before form develops rampid through my loft and who understands where otherwise and before it damages the roof and also the drywall! Iam protected for form/fungi and architectural injury, but when it is associated with the state on my top and entails water, Iam not. Imagine that will be likely to occur first? Touch: it isn't a brand new/fixed top! What else does my loved ones need to undergo? Our advice, find another company. Possibly one which is certified to see guidelines.
