Judith (Judy) Heft is a woman who targets "high-net worth individuals" — especially vulnerable senior citizens. She convinces the elderly who have considerable assets to sign over limited power-of-attorney so that she has complete access to bank accounts and other financial holdings.
Even on her website: www.judithheft.com (in the FAQ sections), it states:
"Older adults often cannot or should not continue to manage their finances on their own. Judith Heft & Associates works with older adults to manage their finances in a way that maintains financial health while preserving their self-esteem."
This is just one example of how Judy Heft tries to convince the elderly that they are incapable of handling their own finances. It has NOTHING to do with "self-esteem, " but rather her desire to control and have full access to sizable assets of her vulnerable senior citizen clients. It should be noted that elder abuse is a serious moral and criminal issue.
