My AmTrust mortgage was taken over by MetLife and I now find myself paying $11 if I wish to make an online payment! Automated Phone payment costs $13!
Here's the kicker, if you write out a check and mail it in with 47 cents postage, it appears on my bank statement as a check deposit "converted ACH" so it is the exact same type of payment anyway. Grrrr. What's a consumer to do? Marj
