Approx. 1 month ago (10) i was contacted by camco, by telephone stating that i owed $5000 on an account from gm household from 1994. I told them that i didnt know what they were talking about, and to please forward me a statement and my signature showing me what these charges were. "Chris" read me back the last 4 digits of my social security number and said since the account was opened in my s.S.# that i was responsible for these charges. He has since contacted me at work even though i had repeatedly told him not to. He then contacted a neighbor and has continuiosly harrassed me day and night.
I was then contacted by his supervisor "Erica" who told me she would settle this account for $586 if i called her by 4 o'clock Monday. I did call her but spoke to someone who continiously sneezed in my ear! I told him to forward documents to me. I have not received them yet. I found your website and am so thankful because i thought i was going nuts! I dont recall ever having a gm household credit card and told them i think i would remember charging $5000! I am very interested in bringing this scam to the public's attention and am contacting a local television station. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks again!
