I enrolled in school in August. My FAFSA was submitted on time. The institution decided to change how they processed their financial aid for students by eliminating the third party company that usualy used. This action caused a delay in students, such as me, from having their financial aid post to their account. It is now November and I still have not been credited for financial aid from August. I had to withdraw from school but was told by several financial aid representatives and business office associates that me withdrawing would not affect my financial aid for the August term. I was informed today that since I withdrew my financial aid will not be processed causing me to have a balance on my account. This is due to negligence on Everest University's behalf and I feel that it is both unethical and cruel to deceive students this way.
