We lent them a considerable amount of money and they have not paid us back.
They are floundering with their finances and taking advantage of their friends. They buy outrageous luxury items (hot tubs, fancy appliances, many Yorkshire Terriers, decorating their home, cameras and travel) that are not "necessary" but they are using other people's money for these things, so they can do it.
We are still waiting to get our money back.
They are trying to get funding for a ridiculous project, and I believe any front money will be frivolously spent and their investors will be left high and dry.
