This company called me and said that I could receive an unsecured credit card with a limit of $2,500. All they needed from me was a deposit of $296. As soon as I received my card I could take the money back out as a refund for the deposit.
It took about 3 weeks after they debited my checking account to receive anything from them. I had been told my credit card would be sent out the next business day. When I received my package there was no credit card.
In the package was a book on how to obtain credit cards, a coupon book, a credit card application, and a bunch of other useless stuff.
Before I agreed to let them debit the money from my checking account I looked them up on the BBB. They had a clean record, so I didn't have any reason to doubt their legitimacy.
After I sent the package back and waited about a week I looked them up on the BBB again because I had lost their number. When I checked them out again the BBB only had horrible things to say about them. The BBB has tried sending letters to them, but they come back undeliverable.
I have been looking into this further, and there is something that you can do if this has happened to you. However everyone must ban together, and make it impossible for these companies to do this to other people.

Please don't let this happen to you. And if it already has happened to you, please report it. Do everything in your power to bring companies like this down. And Please be sure to file a complaint with your local Attorney Generals office. Thank you.
