I would like to bring awareness to the SCAMMING CREEPS at the "so called" Duncan and Pruitt Financial Group of New York, NY. A representative by the name of (Jim Edwards) called and informed me that I was approved for a $5000 secure loan and in order to receive the funds in my account the next day a collateral payment of $800 was needed. Also he said that I would to send my $800 payment to their processor (Angela Parker) who was located in Toronto, Ontario CANADA. I have never heard of this company so I proceeded to do some investigation. I could not find this company on the BBB website, also when looking for their address online, nothing showed up. So of course I was sketical.
I called their customer service dept. And out-right asked them were they running a scam? I told the rep. That I found it strange that they could not be found anywhere on the internet, they were not registered with the BBB and also I wanted to know who was (Angela Parker) and why do I have to send money to her in Canada, like why isn't she there with you in NY? He told me that they were not registered with the BBB because they are not required to do so, and they just decided not to. Also he went on to explain that they have been in business for 14 years and they have 0 complaints. Of course I did not expect them to out-right say "yes we are running a scam" but based on their reaction I felt like they were legit.
So I sent the $800 payment through Western Union and (Jim Edwards) assures me that the money will be in my account in the morning. I look into my account in the morning, NO MONEY! I immediately called (Jim Edwards) and ask him where the money is, and he told me that my transaction was still pending, it should be there later on in the evening or the next morning. And to my surprise, STILL NO MONEY! Then all of sudden I get a call from a senior mananger by the name of (Robert Green) and he is now requesting that I send another payment of $800 because based on my credit the first payment of the $800 was not enough to cover the loan.
I called (Jim Edwards) and asked what happened and why is (Robert Green) calling asking for more money. Jim seemed sincere and was very apologetic for my inconvience. He also said that he hoped that I did not think they were running a scam because if they were, he would not be answering the phone. I just wanted some proof and documentation stating the reason for needing another $800 payment also another loan agreement showing that a total of $1600 was needed. That was indeed a SCAM TACTIC to me and I was never provided another loan agreement. I spoke with (Robert Green) again and told him I did not have any more money and he said that I could receive a full refund by January 15th.
Now when I call the number a machine picks up and replies "GOODBYE". Well I guess we all know what that means. I called myself being proactive by investigating and asking questions and for some reason after everything I did, I still had a bad feeling about the entire thing. Its always best to follow your instincts, but I guess I let my desperation of paying off some of my debts get the best of me. They take advantage of people such as myself and the others victimized by this SATANIC company, and nothing will bring me more joy than to see these JERKS go under. I made reports about this company to BBB and Western Union. Beware of any company that sounds like this, otherwise you'll be sorry.
